Hong Kong Radio (in Cantonese): at 19.20 hrs on 31.56 metres
The Governor General of Hongkong announced that at 01.30 hrs today, four Allied aircraft bombed Hong Kong again, but were driven north by intense gun-fire. "No warning of the approaching planes was given because the long-distance telephone wires to Hong Kong had been cut. We must be fully prepared, and blackout and other precautions must be taken.
